Inspirations: UK invites five UK based individuals who have played a major role in the critical, artistic and curatorial development of moving image, to select one moving image work that has made a significant impact on their own practice. 2009 selectors include David Curtis, Catherine Elwes, Malcolm Le Grice, John Smith and Sarah Wood. The programme includes work by Neil Bartlett, Kurt Kren, William Raban, Man Ray and Margaret Tait.

To coincide with the launch of Inspirations, VIVID is delighted to announce that Malcolm Le Grice will present a selection of his works including his acclaimed experimental films Berlin Horse & Horror Film I.

The selections will be presented at VIVID on Saturday 07 February 2009, from 2 PM and will be accompanied by an illustrated brochure with texts written by each of the selectors. Admission FREE, refreshments available.
