Poor Frankie are 5 Coventry lads with a love for rock ‘n’ roll, spray on jeans, pointy shoes and cranking up them Fender Twins.
Inflicting a brash blend of garage rock on to the Coventry scene, they’ve appeared at venues such as The Colisseum (The Kasbah), Jumpin’ Jaks, The Golden Cross, The Dog & Trumpet, The Fletch, The Squirrel, The Nags Head, The Lord Raglan, Woody’s, The Beer Enigine, The Jailhouse, The Adam & Eve Pub, The Fairfax, The Medicine Bar and The Rainbow Club in Birmingham.

In their first few months, they’ve caused quite a buzz, attracting a dedicated following and have shared a stage with the likes of Senses, Mourning Becomes Electra, The Chairmen, The Matthew Bennett Band, Delta Rush, Shadowplay, State Britain, Tawn, MiTK and Pintshotriot. Whom of which are many of the up and coming bands from Coventry and the Midlands.

Having recorded their four most popular songs at the prestigious Moonbase Studios in Coventry they now have a delightful selection of songs for your ears up here on the myspace. Thanks to Jon for recording, mixing and mastering the e.p. another one is soon to follow with some new tracks and a couple you may just already know.

Back in the studio for a second time Poor Frankie have rendered up the rest of their songs for listening bliss. Harmonise, Let’s Score, Town and Half Kick were recorded, mixed, and mastered @ The Moonbase Studios Coventry, thanks again to Jon’s handy work. Check ‘em out!!!
