Banska is singer/songwriter Rowena Knight. She is based in Birmingham and proves that creativity and originality are still alive in contemporary acoustic music. This is folk music with a unique atmospheric sound and driving rhythms with a rocky edge.

THE SECRET MUSIC CLUB @ NICOLE’S
The Secret Music Club “happens” every Wednesday night at Nicole’s, 18 Hall St, Hockley, Birmingham. B18 6BS (about midway between St Paul’s Square and the Chamberlain Clock, at the top of Caroline Street).
We are also conveniently located close to St. Paul’s Metro and The Jewellery Quarter train station.
We have a featured act each week, together with an open mic session which begins around 8.30pm. So: Bring instruments, voices, songs, poems…
