OBELISK THE TORMENTOR @ Gallery of Owls
Art Exhibition
The Gallery of Owls opens it’s doors yet again, before the void is destroyed by an awkward silence.
OBELISK THE TORMENTOR -11th of December // 7pm - 9pm // OBELISK THE TORMENTOR
‘Since the dawn of time an ancient and sacred procession has taken place. The procession, known as ‘Wn taribb’ (the Silver walk of the Moon king) derives from the moon-God Low. Two obelisks, or sky stones, bridge the gap between the moon and the earth and act as a portal where time is suspended. It is thought that Low watches over anyone who crosses this threshold and blesses them with golden sight and great knowledge. This procession lasts for less than an hour and only takes place every nine years, when shifts in the lunar equilibrium opens the portal and allows mortals on earth a glimpse into a dimension of Gods, Kings and unbelievable creatures.’
As one of their favourite pastimes Owls seek to gain contact with the other side. This time using the ancient procession of ‘Wn taribb’. Join them as they proceed from Gallery of Owls through Moseley village on the pilgrimage between the two ’sky stones’.
Procession starts 7pm
